Cereal

We started cereal for the little peanut. She was regressing her feeding time rather than spacing it out. So, we decided to start trying cereal. Here's the first time...
Most of it decided to go all over her though. Ha ha.

Teething... *sigh*

It has begun. I feel like the cranky period never ended. The Dr said around 3 months "fussytime" goes away. We have now transitioned from that into teething. * sigh* I can't believe it's already here. Most parents have a 3 month break from fussiness. But, our daughter is apparently on miracle grow. LOL. She's just about crawling and already teething..... man... I feel like it's all going so fast.

She has to wear a bib all the time now and if she doesn't she's a sopping mess. She drools like a champ. And she's does a great job of chewing her fist- ALL THE TIME. I have just introduced the cold teething rings, but she's not quite sure what to do with them yet. She likes them at first until she realizes that nothing sucks out of them. Then she gets quite discouraged. For the first time, tonight, I have tried baby Tylenol. I hope this will help relieve some of her discomfort. Lately she just wants to be held all the time and even then she's still uncomfortable.. :(

My Big Girl

Saturday was a big day for my little one. Saturday evening, I brought out the Boppy and put it under her arms on the floor. She held her head up all by herself....and so good too!! I was so proud of her. She has always had great neck and muscle support since day 1. But, this time she was such a big girl and did it all by herself. She can push herself up a bit without any assistance, but she gets tired easily. This was the first time she stayed up for awhile :)

Saturday night we also moved her out of our room. I think it was harder on me than it was on her. he he. But, she's doing great! My little girl is getting so big.

I will post pictures once we get this computer thing straightened out.

Alas

Alas, I have an update for you! It's been a bit as we are still awaiting a computer. We were all set to get one...and then the deal fell through. So, for now we are using the library.

Things on the home front are well. Work is going good for both of us. We have found that routine now. :) It's nice to have everything situated as far as our schedules go. We're still trying to get used to buying the extra items that come with a baby. She goes through diapers and wipes like it's her job! LOL. So, financially we're still trying to get back on that schedule, but we're working on it.

Alissa is getting big. She had her 2 month appointment, rather delayed, last week. She's 11 1/2 weeks now, but they were so booked at the pediatricians office that we had to wait. She had her first set of shots. 5 at one time....and it broke my heart. She cried....and so did mommy!! She's getting so big though. 11 pounds these days. All her newborn clothes are packed away and she is just now starting to fit in her 0-3's. She has just discovered she has hands. She was never a thumb sucker and her Binky would do just fine. Now...any chance she gets- her hand is in her mouth. She plays a lot more these days. her attention span is getting longer and she doesn't really care for her swing anymore. Once in awhile she'll go in it, but she is now bored of it. LOL she's now into her bouncer and her floor gym. Funny though because she concentrates so hard on things and when you try to get her attention...it takes her a minute to realize someone else or something else is there besides what she is doing.

Well I will try to post pictures ASAP from when we get a computer. I have taken some real quite ones..especially ones of her pouty lip. She gives us a BIG lower pouty lip when she gets tired or cranky. It's the cutest thing (well for now it's cute....)

I will try to keep this up as much as possible while we are computerless....
