Stupid Computer

So, for awhile now, we have been having computer issues. Anyone that knows anything about computers....if I told you I had the Blue Screen of death....you would know that it's tragic. LOL. Basically our mother board went. We lost our pictures and everything on there. There MAY be a way to retrieve them, but we won't know until we get a new computer. Who knows when that will happen. So, we feel naked. LOL It's amazing how when something so simple, and a luxury at that, gets removed- how empty you feel. crazy how we rely on technology so much. Ah well. So, for now, we are left with a monitor and an empty space. I will keep you all posted. Hopefully a computer will come soon!

Sleeping Beauty

She looks so peaceful when she sleeps. Now only if we can get it to go all through the night :) She's still on her 3 hour schedule when mom is home. She sleeps in a 5 hour block for daddy first thing in the morning when I leave for work. I think it's because she can pass on the bottle, but won't pass when mom is home. LOL One night, last week, she only woke up once. But, that was a fluke thing I guess. Ah well it will come :) Oh another thing she is starting to do, which I think it all too cute... She plays with her "hair" when she gets sleepy and tries to go to sleep. Such an adorable personality.

Better Days

So these days it has been going MUCH better for Chris. It took about 2 weeks for the baby to get adjusted to me not being home and daddy taking care of her. And it took 2 weeks for Chris's headache to go away :) ha ha. She has been good for him the last 3-4 days he has watched her. So, I am hoping that the crabby days are behind!!

This girl is just too darn cute. Every day we get to see more and more of her personality :)

Things to Look Forward To

There are a few things that I am looking forward to this year.

David is graduating college in May, so it will be a trip to PA for his commencement. Very Cool. I'm so proud of him. I know my mom would be too. I also get to meet my future sister-in-law for the first time then too! (well besides myspace). We are going to swing by NYC either before or on our way home. I've never been. Chris loves it there and frankly would move there if he had his choice. It will be nice to go on our first family vacation and go somewhere that has so much to do. Alissa will still be too young to do much, but that's okay because she won't be able to walk away and leave us (yet!)

My dad is also coming up in May. I can't wait. It's been a couple years since I have seen him. I love when he comes and visits. I wish he would move back, but he has gotten the old people syndrome and won't come here when it's cold. ha ha.

Good times await this year and I simply can't wait!

Adjusting

Adjusting to me going back to work has been harder than we thought. Chris still mostly has bad days with the baby. I just don't understand. she's fine when she's home with me, but horribly cranky when she is with Chris. I know it's hard on him too because he wants to love her, but it's hard when you're frustrated all day. He gets home from work and is exhausted and then has to watch her. I give him credit. I hope it gets better for him and her. Each day I go to work I pray that it will be a good day.

The dogs are finding it rough too. They feel neglected. It's hard because Chris is pooped by the time I get home so he doesn't feel like playing with them and I have to tend to the baby.

I hope this gets easier. It's fine when I am home and on weekends, while I am at work it's so hard. We need to have both of us working, but I wish I could stay home. *sigh*

Back to Work

So, I have returned to work. It has been quite an adjustment for the family. Chris works nights so he comes home right before I leave at 9 and then watches the baby for the day. She basically screams the whole day while I am gone. There has only been one exception and that was the day Chris's mom came over to help him. I dunno.... I wish I could be here to save his sanity, but I also have to work. Too bad I couldn't work from home......
